I Hate That I Still Think of You

Yet I remain grateful to have known you

I hate that you still come to mind.

Even far beyond our parting, you’ve still found some way to roam around in my thoughts, hitting every corner of my psyche. Bothersome, yet bittersweet.

If I’d grown to hate you, perhaps it would make things easier. But I fail to have a reason. One that I could live with.
